About Me
As a financial educator and personal finance professional, my primary goal
is to assist families in establishing robust financial groundwork and
attaining a sustainable financial future. With a robust IT background
spanning over 13 years, specializing in quality assurance and audit
compliance, I have garnered an in-depth comprehension of personal
finance. This expertise initially stemmed from the desire to secure my own
family's financial stability. However, throughout this journey, I've come to
acknowledge a prevalent deficit in financial education within our
community. Consequently, I'm wholeheartedly dedicated to bridging this
gap and empowering individuals, with a special focus on women, to
cultivate a resilient financial future.
My Family
I am residing in Austin alongside my husband and two wonderful children.
My daughter is currently immersed in her undergraduate studies in
Neuroscience, having recently graduated in Indian classical dance.
Alongside her academic pursuits, she's also an adept instructor in this art
form. My son, a budding eighth grader, indulges his passion for Indian
drums (Mridangam) and Robotics during his leisure hours. Above all, I take
immense pride in supporting my family's artistic endeavors, nurturing their
creative expressions and explorations with unwavering dedication.
Financial Literacy Campaigns
Since 2022, I've led Financial Literacy Campaigns, utilizing both in-person
and virtual formats to reach audiences nationwide. My team and I have
positively impacted over 1000 families, and I am on a lifetime mission to
reach half a million families, ensuring their future prosperity.
My Professional Journey
Hailing from Chennai, I initially worked as a Software Engineer, Quality
Assurance and Audit Compliance Manager at Tata Consultancy Services
for over 13 years. After a significant tenure in IT, I have now fully
transitioned into entrepreneurship, dedicating my expertise to developing
financial solutions that empower families towards independence and
security.
Philanthropy and the Spandana Foundation
As a Chapter Head for Austin of the Spandana Foundation, I help improve
lives through education, healthcare, and sustainable living initiatives. We
support an orphanage, operate a school, aid old-age homes, and provide
scholarships in fields such as engineering and medicine.
Interests
Amidst our bustling lives, my husband and I find solace and joy intending to
our organic garden, fostering a shared love for nature and sustainability.
Additionally, we have a passion for traveling and discovering various
countries, along with their cultures and traditions.
My Mission
My goal is to impact half a million people through effective financial
education and problem-solving solutions. This mission seeks individuals
passionate about community impact and ready to drive significant change.
